WHO WE ARE

NOVAE is a small family-run farm that first found its roots in Harlem, New York in 2018. The idea grew from a desire for simplicity and a need for a beautiful space that supports ecology, culminating in therapeutic and healthful outcomes. It has since blossomed into an ecological sanctuary, a place for individual and community growth, art, weIlness and a cultural venue. In 2025 we started growing on a third of an acre in Amenia, NY and will move to a nearby 9-acre landscape in 2026.

VERONICA is a landscape and garden designer, horticulturist, educator and fine artist, with more than fifteen years of dedication to improving the world through connecting people with plants and to each other through ecology and art. She a passionate plantswoman and birder and an advocate for environmental justice.  Veronica is also an immigrant to the US and spent her childhood in the Land of the Hummingbird, Trinidad and Tobago.
